Screw Lock Couplers

Installation Instructions

1. Place the coupler over the end of the fixed bar at a distance of a half coupler length. Finger tighten the bolts into the sleeve. Check and adjust alignment if needed.

2. Place the end of the second bar into the coupler until it butts against the fixed bar. Secure the remaining bolts finger tight into position. Check alignment.

3. Using a ratchet or a pneumatic wrench, fully tighten the lockshear bolts until the heads shear off. You can tighten bolts in any order, but the sheared bolt heads should be flush with the coupler sleeve surface.

4. You’ve completed the connection.
