Description: The 13,500 capacity Leeds Arena is currently under construction on the 5.1 acre Claypit Lane site in the centre of Leeds. The Leeds Arena will be a major regeneration point for the Northern Quarter of the city centre whilst delivery a high quality design that significantly improves the vibrancy of the area.
The arena is being constructed in a super theatre fan shaped format as opposed to the more conventional bowl or horse-shoe seating arrangement commonly used by most arenas in the United Kingdom. On an evening, the front of the honeycomb designed building will have the ability to change colour or pattern dependant on the show or mood of the arena at the time.
SDG have supplied the complete lifting system and all precast accessories to Creagh Concrete for this project. SDG’s precast product ranges have become industry benchmarks of quality and innovation.
