Cast In Loops

Cast in loops are used to lift reinforced concrete elements. They are marked with a coloured tag stating the load group. The loop is placed in the concrete element at the open side of the mould with the thimble also placed in the mould. The tag must be visible after the placing of the concrete. Hoisting hooks of appropriate diameter can then be inserted directly into the protruding loop. Ensure that when storing the precast element that the loops do not kink.
