Vogl Falt-Fix recognised by Plan Expo

SDG construction Technology based in Armagh have been awarded winners in the Best interior building product category at Plan Expo 2010 held at the newly built National Conference Centre in Dublin. This is the third year in a row SDG have won an award at the showcase and demonstrates the company’s commitment to bringing high quality innovative products to the UK and Irish marketplace.

The product which acclaimed the accolade was Vogl Falt Fix; an innovative prefabricated plasterboard system used for bulkheads and light coffers. Falt Fix significantly reduces labour and material costs with the advantage of eliminating the requirement for corner beading for elaborate substructures.

Speaking at the show Specification Manager at SDG, Mark Donnelly was thrilled with the achievement.

‘We are delighted to win this award for a new and innovative product for use within the construction industry particularly at a time the sector is under pressure.

This year will see SDG celebrating 25 years in business within the construction industry. As well as an Acoustics and Vibration Control division SDG have three other divisions including Construction Technology, Precast Construction and Waterproofing.
