The Victoria Square scheme will consists of 500,000sq ft of retail space, 150,000sq ft of leisure facilities, including a health club, cinema and restaurants, and around 100 residential units.
The scheme will create around 3,000 jobs during the construction phase, with another 3,000 created when the scheme opens in Spring 2007.
The project is planned as a new urban neighbourhood, integrating new streets and buildings to blend in with the surrounding community. It incorporates no fewer than 17 different buildings and will have at its centre a new public square.
The development is centred on multi-leveled covered streets linked by an impressive public square covered by a 35m diameter glass dome that will be one of the biggest covered spaces in a mixed-use development of this nature
