Description:
The scope of SDG’s works at the iconic Terminal 2, Dublin Airport, consisted of the supply and installation of a mechanical movement joint to the intermediate and upper deck of the T2 MSCP and concourse bridge structure.
SDG proposed the Deflex 500/Na-050 W, a stainless steel, watertight profile with a resistance to petrol and no visible screws in the profile surface.
An additional key feature and instrumental in its selection, was the high movement deflection the profile was able to accommodate.
SDG also supplied and installed the all metal Deflex 426/ALR profile to the Link Bridge connecting the MSCP to the main terminal building.
In total 280 l/m were installed and the duration of the project for SDG was four weeks.
