Plastic dowel bar caps are available in standard 100mm lengths. Each has 25mm of compressible material at one end to ensure that the necessary expansion can take place.

A tight fitting flexible PVC sleeve which provides an easier way of debonding dowel bars than other painted-on compounds.

Debonding compound, which is brush applied or dip applied one part bitumen based coating designed to coat dowel bars in expansion joints where movement is required.
