Description: Internet search engine giant Google recently expanded its base with 6 floors of office at Grand Canal Plaza, Dublin. The Dublin office serves as the Google Head office for its operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa and employs almost 2000 staff mainly in sales and engineering. The environment in the Google’s Dublin office is unique, and with support to more than 25 countries and over 50 languages being spoken, a very special type of office environment is demanded. Google’s focus is on excellence while having fun.
The ceilings in the Google offices were supplied and installed by SDG to create not just a pleasant acoustic environment but also to give a stunning visual backdrop to the unconventional fit out arrangements at Google. Vogl perforated boards using their unique joint system not only added to the speed of installation in what was a tight turnaround time but also offers a crack resistant ceiling which will withstand the test of time. Fitted Vogl access panels allow for access to services without compromising the overall aesthetics.
