Akustik Border

Akustik®-Border is made of expanded polyethylene with a density of 30 kg/m2. It can be easily installed between the perimeter walls and the floor. Its “L” shape makes it invaluable for perfect footfall sound insulation as it isolates the floor covering from the perimeter walls thus preventing structural borne sound transfer.

Akustik® – Border has a self adhesive side and it is very easy to install. It can be used together with all types of floor sound insulation products, especially Ecoroll and Akustik® PE. The material must be placed between the wall and the floor and cut after the flooring is laid.
