Perimeter Seals
Perimeter seals are an essential part to an effective acoustic door seal solution as they effectively fill the natural gap created between door leaf and frame in a doorset. This range covers both retro and rout in versions to suit almost every requirement. The seals work by filling the air gaps that create sound leaks around the head and jambs of the doorset, this also stops smoke, light, dust…etc.

NOR 710
This revolutionary retro fit seal increases acoustic performance of a standard fire rated door simply and effectively. Its design is based on ‘dual air pocked technology‘ which acts in the same way as triple glazing. The NOR 710 also has smoke seal capabilities in accordance with BS 476 Part 31:1 and is unaffected by door furniture including hinges and latches. We have cycle tested the NOR710 acoustic door seal up to 100,000 opening and closing cycles. CF 629

NOR 720
A tiny seal with impressive dB reductions. This seal is only 5mm wide and once fitted only three thin 4.2mm long blades are visible, giving a discrete finish without compromising acoustic performance. The NOR 720 also has smoke seal capabilities in accordance with BS 476 Part 31:1 and its design is based on ‘dual air pocket technology‘ which acts in the same way as triple glazing.
